New canning line combined with automation at Browar Nepomucen

New canning line combined with automation at Browar Nepomucen – STM GROUP supports the development of Polish craft beer!

The beverage market is changing at a dizzying pace. The growing importance of sustainable development, increasing quality requirements and consumer expectations mean that manufacturers – including craft breweries – are increasingly willing to invest in modern bottling technologies. A good example of this change is Browar Nepomucen, which has recently undergone a technological revolution thanks to solutions provided by STM GROUP.

Nepomucen is a craft brewery founded by brothers Piotr and Mariusz Musielak, both home brewers. It is located in the picturesque village of Szkaradowo. The brewery’s origins date back to 2014, when the brothers converted a century-old bakery and designed and built the brewhouse themselves. They brewed their first batch on 13 February 2015. Since then, the brewery has undergone intensive development, increasing its monthly production from 8,000 litres to almost 150,000 litres, thanks to further modernisation and an increase in the number of fermentation tanks. In 2019, a key expansion took place, with the construction of a new fermentation and bottling hall and a high-bay warehouse.

Today, NEPO Brewing is one of the largest and most award-winning craft breweries in Poland, for which STM GROUP has designed and implemented complete can and bottle filling lines, including:
🔹STM ARROW CAN 14/2 EPV monoblock – capacity of 6,000 cans/hour, 14 isobaric fillers, full control of filling parameters, minimisation of TPO and excellent hygiene.
🔹New line for glass bottles with STM ARROW BEER 16/16/4 EPV triblock.
🔹Automatic depalletiser, can dryer, STM UNO ADE labeller, can weight control system, plate conveyors.
🔹Packaging machine for wrap-around cartons.
🔹PAL 0 PRO palletising system with a KUKA robot – the first of its kind in a Polish craft brewery.

Thanks to the implementation of the STM GROUP line, the entire process can now be handled by only 2–3 employees. This means:
🔹Higher efficiency,
🔹Lower labour costs,
🔹Better hygiene
🔹Process quality control,
🔹Full flexibility of packaging formats. Special semi-automatic sorting tables allow Nepomucen to quickly prepare mixed beer sets for retail chains.

These changes are very important for every industry. Automation is no longer a luxury reserved for large plants. It is a necessity even for small and medium-sized producers who want to meet the growing demands of the market and remain competitive. By providing comprehensive solutions, STM GROUP helps Polish plants to develop in a modern, efficient and sustainable manner.
The cooperation between STM GROUP and Browar Nepomucen shows that technology and craftsmanship can go hand in hand. Modern bottling lines are an investment that quickly pays for itself – they increase efficiency, improve quality and give the brewery a competitive edge.
